About Krystle Sherrell:
I am a multi-media journalist/reporter for KSN News 3 in Wichita, Kansas after more than two years at 5NEWS in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
While at 5NEWS, I covered major headlines including the murder of a Sebastian County deputy, the search and rescue for a missing injured K-9 officer, a deadly Oklahoma oil rig explosion, wildfires, tornado coverage and much more.
Not only does the breaking news thrill me, but being able to tell the perfect story through a feature piece is so much fun, too.
Storytelling and reporting is my absolute passion and I am no stranger to hard work and adapting to changing situations.
I attended the University of Arkansas where I earned a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism.
While at the U of A, I worked and volunteered for UATV, The Razorback Sports Network, Razorvision and ESPN U.
My passion for storytelling and sports is where my story first began and I continued to cover sports throughout college.
I interned and served as an on-air host for the Ugly Uncle Sports Radio Show and also at KATV in Little Rock, Arkansas.
I am from Maumelle, AR and a graduate of Little Rock Central High School.
